Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Joe Cunningham praised the House passage of H.R. 1112, the legislation he introduced with Majority Whip Clyburn and Republican Rep. Peter King. This bipartisan legislation closes the ‘Charleston Loophole’ that currently allows the sale of a firearm to proceed by default if a background check is not completed within three days.
