Press Release

Earlier today, the office of Rep. Joe Cunningham (SC-01) facilitated the donation of 250,000 KN95 masks by inFocus Healthcare Consultants Founding Partner Joshua Lambert. The masks will be distributed to first responders and frontline workers throughout the Charleston area, with 150,000 masks being split between the city of Charleston and the Charleston County Medical Society and another 100,000 masks going to Seacoast Church.

“inFocus Healthcare Consultants is honored to work alongside Congressman Cunningham, Senator Scott, Mayor Tecklenburg, and Seacoast Church to donate 250,000 critically-needed KN95 Respirator Masks to local first responders risking their personal safety and saving lives during the COVID-19 pandemic along with our church community and local school systems,” said Joshua Lambert, President of Charleston-based inFocus Healthcare Consultants. “Our team is working around the clock to provide critically needed services, PPE and testing supplies for the fight against COVID-19. inFocus Healthcare Consultants is honored to be able to provide this donation to the city of Charleston along with the Charleston County Medical Society; we encourage everyone else to assist in the fight as they can,” added Lambert.

“When Josh reached out to our office to let us know that he had a supply of PPE, we immediately sprung to action and communicated with community leaders to locate the immediate need for PPE for Lowcountry first responders and frontline workers,” said Rep. Joe Cunningham. “His generous donation of 250,000 masks is proof of the fact that when the Lowcountry goes through difficult times, we pull together to make it through.  It is an honor to help facilitate this donation and help our heroic first responders, health care workers, and all others on the frontlines of this pandemic stay healthy as they fight this virus.”

“As COVID-19 infection rates continue to rise in the Charleston area, it’s more important than ever that we take the necessary steps to slow the spread, and wearing a mask is job number one. This generous donation by Mr. Lambert will go a long way in keeping our first responders and frontline workers healthy and able to continue the fight against COVID-19,” said Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg.

“Masks are an essential part of being able to see patients in a safe manner. CCMS is proud to help distribute this PPE to Doctors’ offices and clinics that focus on disadvantaged patients,” said Dr. Marcelo Hochman, Charleston County Medical Society President.

“On behalf of Seacoast Church, I want to say how grateful we are for this generous donation of KN95 masks. We are thrilled to partner with inFocus Healthcare and our local, state and federal officials to ensure that medical professionals and first responders have the necessary supplies as they work tirelessly to meet the needs of our communities. We are working with the city of Charleston as well as local missions partners to identify the highest needs for these masks, and are grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in this effort,” said Pastor Josh Surratt, Lead Pastor, Seacoast Church.
